Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Q.)

What are your office hours? My office/working hours are Monday through Thursday, 8AM-5PM. I am closed on all major holidays.

What are your cleaning times? I start my first appointment at 8AM and my second at 1PM. Weekend appointments are by request with special rates.

Do you have appointments on weekends? Yes. My cleaning rate is $25/hr with a 4 hour minimum. Weekends are by special request and are not always available. Contact me no later than the Monday before you need your weekend cleaning so that I can attempt to reschedule.

What types of cleaning do you do?
I do general household cleaning as well as other services. Please see my 40 point checklist to get an idea.

How many maids do you send? I work alone right now, so one!

Do you guarantee your work? Yes, as long as it's on my checklist to be cleaned and you call within 24 hours (1 business day) after the cleaning. I will come back out and re-clean anything that you do not find satisfactory.

Do you come to my home and give me an estimate? Yes! You can use the online quote estimator to get a general idea, but once I meet with you, I can determine if there is more or less work to be done to give you an accurate estimate. Not all homes are the same, and I can tailor my services to your needs.

Do I supply the cleaning supplies and vacuum cleaner or do you? I supply everything necessary to clean your home. The only exception would be those customers who want a special product used that I don't carry such as Green Works products. I use a Rainbow Vacuum System for vacuuming and dusting.

Will you be cleaning my whole house every time? I have a 40 Point Checklist that I attempt to complete with each cleaning. Based on the size of your home, I will use the time I quote you to complete that list. Depending on the condition of your home, I may or may not be able to clean the entire house on your first appointment. I will discuss this with you further when you book your appointment.

What about window cleaning? Yes, but only the inside windows. I do not do exterior windows.

Do you clean carpets? I vacuum carpets. I do not steam or shampoo carpeting.

Do you do laundry (wash clothes) or ironing? Not at this time.

Do I have to be home when you come for my appointment? No, but I do need to make arrangements for entry into your home. I actually work better in an empty home with fewer distractions. I can provide a background check if you would like.

Do you bill a customer after cleaning? No. Payment is expected the day of your appointment. I accept cash or check. I charge a $25 fee for returned checks.

Will you be the only maid coming to clean my house? Yes, that is the best thing about working with me! As of now, I am the only employee in my business. I will get to know you, your cleaning needs, and your home.

Do I have to lock up my pets? No! I would love to meet your pets with you in person so I can build a trust with them. However, when cleaning it is best if they are in a back room, patio, or kennel so they don’t walk on freshly mopped surfaces. If your pet leaves prints, I will not re-mop.

Do I have to sign a contract with you? No! I will provide an invoice after each cleaning, but you are under no contract with me. I offer one-time, monthly, bi-weekly and weekly services. Let’s discuss what would be best for you and your budget.

Do I tip you? I love tips, but they are not required. Little things like notes are the best tips!

What if something is broken? I treat your home and belongings as if they were my own. I also will not do any tasks that I see as potential chances for incidents to occur. If something does happen, I will call you as soon as possible. If I can not reach you, I will leave a note and call you the next business day to see how we want to handle the situation. I am insured and bonded.
